My name is Maja Rokavec and I live in a little village close to the geometric center of Slovenia. I have two dogs, both girls: Siberian husky Živa. who was born on 19 May 2002, and border collie Phoebe, who entered this world on 11 July 2008. I became a frisbee enthusiast when I was waiting for my border collie puppy. I bought frisbees even before I got her, and tried to play with my Siberian husky, but Živa wasn't very interested. :)

On 4-5 April I took part in my first frisbee seminar, under the leadership of Jakub Stybr from the Czech Republic. I learned some interesting throws and later practiced them at home, and bought some puppy frisbees.
Once I got my border collie I could start playing frisbee as a team. In the beginning it was just playing and tugging with the frisbee. Then Phoebe and I started working on retrieval, with her bringing the frisbee to me, and later I threw rollers for her to catch. We started to train frisbee more seriously at the age of 1 year and a half and at that time we also started to take part of frisbee competitions.

Frisbee is a lot of fun for us, especially for Phoebe. When she sees it she starts to bark happily and perform all kinds of tricks to try to get me to throw her a frisbee. :) Our moto, as it is in Flipsi, is "Keep it safe, keep it fun!".

4. EUROPEAN Dogfrisbee CHAMPIONSHIP Freestyle in Holland (USDDN) - division ADVANCED:

Minidistance: 17points, 1st round: 32,04 points, 2nd round: 31,25 points!
Grand total: 111,93 points! - 1st place!

Freestyle Expert: 62 points: 3rd place!

6.competition: 24.04.2011: Easter Flipsi dogfrisbee competition: Freestyle OPEN (USDDN)
