Tamara GregorčičI'm Tamara Gregorčič from the Zasavje region of Slovenia, and this is my Australian shepherd Žak. When he was a puppy, he had a rubber frisbee for dogs but he didn't show much interest in it. Then in the summer of 2008 I got him a couple of plastic frisbees to try out and that's when the frisbee craze started, which continues right up to the present. We went to some frisbee training sessions in Tivoli Park, and became total converts to the sport.
In the fall of 2008 we went to a frisbee seminar in Trbovlje, and later a frisbee fun competition in Tivoli. We did well at the competition and that gave us further motivation to continue training. Žak is a true frisbee maniac so training is always fun. At the moment we're working on new freestyle elements. We attend frisbee classes in Ljubljana with Manca Mikec.
In addition to frisbee we also train agility, and we like to spend the rest of our time exploring the nearby mountains. Website: |
